Step 1
Wash the beans well and soak them in more water for 12 hours, it is perfect to put them in the evening and prepare them on the 2nd day.
Step 2
And now we start to cook effectively, after the beans have softened well.
The beef is washed, dried with a towel / napkin and cooked a little in oil, until lightly browned on both sides.
Step 3
Drain the water in which the beans were soaked and put the beans and hardened meat in it in a cauldron or pan. Clean, wash and cut an onion into 4, put it here in the cauldron. Also put 3 bay leaves here.
Step 4
Pour enough water to cover the whole composition and put it on the fire. When it starts to boil, turn the heat to low and let it simmer for 2-3 hours under the lid.
Step 5
After boiling well, test if the meat and beans are soft. If so, then we will continue to prepare the vegetable composition.
If they are still strong, let them boil.
Step 6
Onions are cleaned, washed and cut into small pieces. The carrot is cleaned, washed and grated. Put a little oil in a pan, add the vegetables, stir periodically and let it cook well, but not necessarily brown, just lower and let the juice.
Step 7
Then add the paprika, pepper, diced tomatoes and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 8
Add the vegetable mixture to the pot, stir and simmer for about 1 hour on low heat until well reduced.
Step 9
And at the end, after everything has boiled well, add salt. Notice that the salt is added after the beans have boiled well, otherwise it hardens and you can boil it all day and it will not be soft.
Step 10
Serve the food hot with salad or pickles - I made a quick marinated cabbage recipe, in 3 hours from Anishoara , it was very, very good. In the future I will put it on the site, for now you will learn directly from the source. :)
It's really worth trying this food, although it takes a little time and organization, it's not complicated - I assure you it's super, super delicious.
