A more interesting interpretation of the Sweet Cheese Buns due to the different way of assembly.
The filling can be cheese or other that you like, it is important not to be liquid, not to runny - combinations of jam with nuts, raisin / apricot paste, etc.
And cut it into small pieces, about the size of a walnut, even a little bigger. Make them balls and let them rest for 10 minutes.
Mix cheese with sugar, raisins, vanilla essence and 1 egg. If the cheese is too liquid, I would recommend not to lay an egg, or to use only a little of it.
Each ball of dough is spread in a circle.
It is cut on the edges in 3 places, at equal distances, be sure to leave about 2 cm in the middle - see the picture.
Put 1 tablespoon of the cheese filling in the middle.
With one of the pieces of dough cut, wrap the filling, hold the edges well.
The same is done with the next "petal" of dough, it is wrapped over the first one. And the last one will close the "rose", hold the edges firmly at the base.
In this way you make all the "roses", put them in an oven tray, grease them with beaten egg and let them grow a little for half an hour.
Bake them in a preheated oven at 200 degrees, for about 25-30 minutes, until they brown nicely.
Allow to cool slightly and serve with great pleasure!
Good appetite!
