Easy Jam Cake
One of the most successful recipes I've tried lately, the recipe caught my attention by the fact that you can use jam and in a very interesting form.
Another interesting thing, the dough uses vanilla pudding powder, and see what an extraordinary dough comes out! My husband says it's like a panettone (Italian cake), very fine, fragrant, tender - he told me it's the best cake I've made so far.
And the sweet thing - there are some aromatic and colorful channels inside the cake, which complete this dough perfectly. I recommend you to try it, with us for sure it will be the most beloved cake from now on!
Ingredients

Vanilla pudding powder
20 g
half a 40g sachet - can be replaced with plain starch.

Butter
80 g
to be soft at room temperature
●
Jam
8 tbsp
or denser jam - the quantities are approximate here, put according to preferences and tastes

Step by step
Step 1
The flour is mixed with baking powder and vanilla pudding powder.
Step 2
Beat the egg whites with the sugar.
Step 3
To the egg composition add the flour mixture, mix.
Step 4
Then follow the milk and soft butter - mix well, you will get a thicker dough, like a thicker cream.
Step 5
Spread a baking tray 28 cm in diameter (or 26 cm) with baking paper.
Pour the dough into the tray and spread it with a spoon over the entire surface.
Step 6
With a teaspoon, place a little jam / jam on top, over the dough, from place to place.
Try not to put too liquid jams.
Step 7
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes - until nicely browned.
Be careful, it bakes quite quickly, not to "tan" too hard :)
Step 8
After it has cooled well, take it out of the pan, dust it with a little powdered sugar (optional) for decoration.
