Lebanese Fattoush Salad
The season of natural greens is coming and if you want to somehow diversify the classic salad, I propose this Lebanese Fattoush Salad, it is very good, crunchy, aromatic and tasty.
If you search for the Fatoush recipe on the internet, you will come across a lot of options, and anyway you will somehow adapt to what you have in the fridge and in the market. I made a simpler version, from more special spices I used only sumac - a kind of spice that gives a sour taste to salads and oriental dishes. It can be found at any butcher / Arab store, if you don't have it I think you can definitely use a little more lemon juice.
Of course, the most delicious part of the salad are the sticky quick chips, you have the recipe on the site.

Step by step
Step 1
This is what sumac looks like, you can find it in any Turkish / Arabic store, or on online spice stores.
Step 2
In a larger bowl, break the lettuce leaves.
Step 3
Add the chopped tomatoes, onion and finely chopped parsley.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, salt and crushed garlic.
Step 5
Pour this dressing over the vegetables, sprinkle a pinch of sumac knife (be careful with it, if you put too much salad it will be too sour).
Mix even more lemon / sumac with sour cream or salt.
Step 6
Before serving the salad, add the sticky pita chips, the most delicious and interesting part of the salad.
Step 7
And serve with great pleasure!
Good appetite!
