Another beautiful and tasty version of the buns prepared from the quick sweet yeast dough.
Tasteful - fragrant, soft, tender, poppy seeds can be replaced with cocoa or cinnamon - anything you like and will lead the imagination.
Prepare the Quick Sweet Yeast dough, according to the recipe.
Divide the dough into 2 parts - from one I made the Buns with raisins, so I cut it into small pieces.
The other one I modeled a bigger ball and see what we do next.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes, then spread it with the rolling pin in a rectangle (approximately) 3-4 mm thick.
Grease the dough sheet with soft butter, oil or jam.
Sprinkle with sugar and poppy seeds.
Roll the sheet tighter.
Now we make the popcorn :
- The roll is cut into 2.5-3 cm thick pieces.
Turn the small roll with the cut upwards and open the rows of dough a little.
With scissors cut the rows of the roll about cm by cm, alternating the upper ones - follow the pictures carefully and click on the picture to see closer.
And here's the ending.
Arrange them on a tray greased with oil, or spread on baking paper - and grease them with beaten egg, or fasting tea.
To Make Bun Rolls :
- Cut the dough as in the picture.
Each small cut roll is placed with the shorter side up and pressed in the middle with the spoon / knife tail.
Place the rolls in a tray greased with oil or spread with baking paper, grease them with a little beat - the fasting version I said above.
Bake the buns at 180 degrees, about 30-40 minutes - until nicely browned. Be careful that they are done fairly quickly and do not tan them too hard.
