Step by step
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients - 1 glass of oatmeal, 1 glass of rye flour and 1 glass of carrot given through a small grater (about 2 medium carrots).
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients - oats, rye flour, baking soda, salt, sugar and carrots.
Step 3
Then add the walnuts and ginger given through a small grater, mix (with a spoon or with your hands).
Step 4
And last of all, the oil works, mix well with your hands.
Step 5
Knead for about 5 minutes until the dough sticks and is a little sticky. If you see that it is too crumbly, add a little more oil.
Step 6
Take a little dough and form balls like a walnut.
Step 7
And flatten them a little so that they are whips about 8-10mm thick.
Be careful with the dough, because it is more sticky, you have to wash your hands periodically so that you can work well with biscuits.
A discovery at Atelier was that they can be made beautiful and fast if you put on disposable plastic gloves.
Step 8
Arrange on a Teflon tray, or spread with baking paper.
Step 9
Bake them at 200 degrees, about 30 minutes - be sure to keep them a little longer, brown them a little.
Step 10
Let them cool well then serve them with a tea or a cup of milk - delicious!
If you serve them hot, they may be softer.
Good appetite!
