Oat flakes

Finely grated peeled carrots

Chopped walnuts

finely chopped or ground, but not very fine
Cane sugar
0.5 cups
or plain sugar
Fresh shredded ginger

Sunflower oil

Step by step

Step 1

Gather your ingredients - 1 cup of oatmeal, 1 cup of rye flour, and 1 cup of finely grated carrots (about 2 medium carrots).

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients - oats, rye flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and carrots.

Add the walnuts and freshly grated ginger, then mix using a spoon or your hands.
