When you want to make something good and fast, I recommend you try these rolls. The original recipe includes chicken (ham or cooked). I used simple salami, since I had some in the fridge.
Don't thaw the pastry completely, it will be harder to work.
Thaw the puff pastry. Place on the work surface and cut into strips about 2cm wide.
Cut an even number of strips.
On a strip, arrange the cheese and salami, thinly sliced.
Cover with the next strip and glue the edges together along the entire length.
Then cut the strip in half.
Twist the halves into spirals, just like in the picture.
Shape like this all the strips. Arrange the spirals in an oven sheet, lined or not with baking paper.
Brush the spirals with eggwash.
Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees C for about 30-40 minutes, until nicely browned.
Allow to cool, then serve, preferably, warm and fresh.
Enjoy!
