A recipe inspired by Armenian cuisine, the combination is more than successful, I say perfect. Preferably to use red beans here, it would work with the preserved, but the freshly cooked one seems to be more tender and soft.
With only 3 ingredients you still have a delicious, fast and special fasting food. It is served with pickles or vinegar.
The beans are soaked in time, then boiled until soft, but not even porridge.
Drain it from the water in which it boiled.
Cut the onion into small cubes and fry in oil until nicely browned.
In a deeper bowl put the hardened onions, the chopped walnuts (some of the walnuts I ground well and others I chopped).
Add the beans, stir.
Season with salt and pepper, if you find it dry you can add a little more oil.
And ready, served with some pickles, I had cucumbers in vinegar .....
Good appetite!
