Step by step
Step 1
Cut the chicken breast into thin slices, season with salt and pepper and arrange in a deep oven tray, greased with a little oil (optional).
Step 2
Cut the potatoes into thin slices - 2-3 mm and put them over the chicken breast - sprinkle a little salt and pepper on top.
Step 3
Spread the potatoes on top with mayonnaise or sour cream.
Step 4
And sprinkle grated cheese.
Step 5
Cover it with aluminum foil and put it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees, for about 45 minutes - 1 hour.
Step 6
10 minutes before removing the tray from the oven, unroll the foil from the tray and let the cheese brown.
However, I still test the potatoes with a knife, if they come in as easily as butter, they are ready - then I remove the foil.
Step 7
And ready, serve hot food with any vegetables you like.
