Step by step
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the warm milk, eggs, melted butter and yeast - beat well with a whisk to dissolve the yeast.
Step 2
Add flour and baking powder, knead the dough.
Step 3
It will be a soft and slightly sticky dough, but it works well on the table sprinkled with a little flour.
Step 4
Form a ball of dough and put in a bag in the fridge for 2 hours.
Step 5
After this time, take the dough out of the fridge, divide it into 5 pieces.
Step 6
Form 5 pieces of these pieces and let them rest for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Before spreading the balls to form croissants, sprinkle the work table with more sugar - usually flour is added to spread the dough, here you put sugar.
Step 8
And lightly spread the first sheet of dough on this sugar, to be about 3-4mm thick.
Step 9
Cut the dough into 12 equal slices.
Step 10
And then roll the croissants from each slice.
Step 11
Arrange the croissants on an oven tray, possibly spread with baking paper.
This is how you make the other dough balls - don't forget to sprinkle sugar on the work table before spreading each sheet - this makes the croissants delicious and glazed.
Step 12
After filling the tray, put it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees and leave for about 30 minutes - or until nicely browned. Be careful that they are done fairly quickly and do not tan them too hard.
Step 13
Allow to cool slightly, then remove to a plate or platter.
And here you have the promised and sure convincing section :)
Good appetite!
