Another appetizer suggestion for festive meals and more - although it is quite simple and commonplace. All the ingredients combine and are absolutely delicious and look good on the table. Fish dishes are popular at a festive meal, try serving the herring in this way and see that it disappears quickly from the plate, still on the way, from the kitchen.
Cut the bread into 1 cm thick slices and then cut the edges - so that they are exactly the size of the fillets you bought.
Bread slices are browned on an oil-free pan on both sides.
In a bowl put the soft butter and tomato paste.
Use a fork to mix the mixture well.
Then even out it with a whisk or mixer.
And now we start assembling the sofas:
- Grease each slice with butter and tomato paste
- Put the herring fillet on top
Now have a sharp knife and some napkins at hand - cut the couches to be about 1 cm thick, with firm movements and after each cut wipe the knife with a napkin or wash it.
You serve them on a plate, with some green onions and olives - it will surely be a HIT - in fact the name of the recipe is like that - HIT canapes. Try it and see why :)
Good appetite!
