Step 1
First of all, make the bread dough, you can use any recipe - I always make it with Homemade Bread dough. Knead it and let it grow well.

Then, after you have set aside the piece of bread, stretch the string about as thick as a finger. Cut pieces 1.5-2 cm thick.
Step 3
Take each piece and try to give it a ball shape.
Step 4
Arrange all the balls thus formed, one next to the other, in an oven tray greased with a little oil.
Let them rise for 10-15 minutes, then put them in the oven over medium heat at 180-200 degrees.
Step 5
During this time we prepare the onion and garlic as follows:
- Cut the onion into juliennes and fry in oil (let the oil be a little more) until lightly browned.
Step 6
Grind the garlic and mix it with half a glass of water, salt and a little oil - it's a kind of peasant juice.
Step 7
Remove the loaves from the oven when they are nicely browned.
Leave them in the tray for 10 minutes to cool.
Step 8
Unwrap each ball from the baked "chain" and place in a deeper bowl.
Pour the onion with oil, the garlic sauce and mix well the whole composition, so that each loaf is covered with this aromatic mixture.
Step 9
They are good and hot and cold - as such, with soups or dishes with vegetables / salads.
