40 Cloves Garlic Chicken
The recipe that I looked at a long time ago and I plan to make it and it's a goodness, tender, aromatic, otherwise it can't be, it's just a classic French recipe.
I found many variants on the internet, simpler and more sophisticated - I chose a simple combination, I took from one side of another blog something else and I think I was right. It's very simple but it's no longer an ordinary chicken in the oven, it's a delicacy ... and you can enjoy your family without much complications.
Garlic becomes very fragrant, soft and you will come to eat it plain on bread.
Ingredients

Step by step
Step 1
Wash the chicken well, cut it and cut it into small pieces. Dry the pieces of meat well on a paper towel.
Step 2
Pour oil into a hot pan, let the oil heat well (to brown the chicken, not to boil it).
Carefully place the chicken pieces and let them brown.
Step 3
I recommend using a sieve to protect the walls from oil - when frying, a little oil jumps here.
Turn the chicken pieces over and brown them well on all sides.
Step 4
And forget the stars - the garlic cloves - especially since now is the season of tender, fragrant garlic ... I was right here and I counted 40 pieces - so that the recipe doesn't come out :)
Step 5
The garlic is cleaned, although in some variants I saw that it is left with the peel - I said it is more convenient to eat like this - and I did well.
Step 6
After removing the chicken pieces from the pan, add the garlic and let it harden a little - about 5 minutes - stir periodically.
Step 7
After this time add the wine or brandy. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes, evaporating the alcohol.
Step 8
Then add salt, pepper and if you want you have marjoram and cumin. Mix well and turn off the heat.
Step 9
Put the chicken pieces in a simple oven tray, in which you spread a lot of aluminum foil (so you can cover the meat on top).
Or use a smaller oven tray with a lid.
Step 10
Put the hardened garlic among the chicken pieces - pour the prepared sauce over each piece of meat.
Step 11
Wrap the meat well with foil or if you have a tray with a lid, put the lid on.
Put the meat in the oven over medium heat - 180-200 degrees for 30 minutes.
Step 12
After this time, remove the tray from the oven, remove the lid or foil on top and with a brush grease all the chicken pieces with the sauce formed. Put them in the oven for another 10-15 minutes - I would recommend removing them and greasing them, but it would be enough at least once.
Step 13
And ready, serve with what you like - potatoes, rice, vegetables - any salad ... etc.
