Another excellent vegan recipe, it is served for breakfast, with fruit sauce, or yogurt sauce or white vanilla sauce - whichever you prefer. We usually serve it with frozen strawberry and banana sauce (these 2 mixed) plus a glass of natural soy milk and we have the perfect and healthy breakfast. The same goes for a more dietary and healthy dessert.
But I had the greatest pleasure when my little girl was very fussy about food, she ate the whole portion and took it from us from the plate - so you will realize that she is perfectly good. I highly recommend you try it!
It is perfect to make it in the evening, let it cool and penetrate overnight and in the morning you eat it for breakfast.
Put the fine oatmeal in a larger bowl.
Then add the finely chopped walnuts.
Followed by grated peel of 1 lemon.
Then add salt and sugar and mix everything well with a spoon.
Mix 1/3 glass of water with vanilla essence, pour the composition into the above flakes. Then pour 3 tablespoons of oil there. Mix with a spoon and then by hand - at first you will see that it seems drier, but still mixing and pressing between your fingers, you will notice that some lumps are made. In fact, from them this is the name of the dessert, after baking they become crispy and fragrant.
This is how the crisp composition should be, a little sticky and with lumps in it. It does not have to be as homogeneous as a shell.
Grease a deep baking tray with a little oil and place the apples, peeled and pitted and finely chopped.
The more apples you put, the better the crisp will be.
Pour 1/4 glass of water over the apples, then sprinkle the cinnamon all over the surface.
And at the end, sprinkle the composition of flakes over the apples - be careful not to loosen the lumps, this is the charm of the dessert, when they bake like this and brown. Place in the oven at 180-200 degrees.
Leave in the oven until well browned, then remove and let cool and penetrate.
You can serve it with any favorite sweet sauce - I usually mix banana with strawberries, or any other fruit you have available.
Good appetite!
