Another recent discovery, very simple and quick to prepare, delicious. It is magic because the dough for the countertop and the farmers cheese are put together, the cheese being heavier, it is lowered, and the dough covers it, forming a delicious sponge cake on top and below.
I recommend that you read the instructions carefully and try it as soon as possible - it's so good, you won't even notice how it is eaten.
Mix eggs well with half a glass of sugar - better and faster to use a mixer.
Then add sour cream and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Mix well.
Then add the flour and baking powder, mix well - this will be the cake top.
Mix the cheese with half a glass of sugar, 2 eggs, semolina. Be careful that the cheese is not liquid in consistency, because it will not be heavy enough to sit under the counter - of course it will not spoil the taste, but it is nicer to come out well.
Optionally here you can add raisins or any favorite fruit.
Grease a deep baking tray (26-28 cm in diameter) with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, or you can put baking paper.
Pour the dough into the tray, then with a spoon put the cheese composition in the middle of the tray, make it a little even and bake it at 180-200 degrees until it browns.
After baking, let it cool well. Then portion it and serve.
Don't be scared if the layers don't delimit the first time (I made a mistake from the first one, I made the cheese too liquid), the cake is tasty anyway.
Good appetite!
