The pie is very good, I really found the combination of corn, meat and peas interesting in the pie, plus the dough is different from other pies of this type - it is made of milk, eggs and oil, without butter. I will definitely make it for the family, my little girl ate it with great pleasure.
Wash the chicken breast well and boil for 30 minutes, then remove from the water and allow to cool.
After the chicken breast has boiled, start making the dough.
The flour is mixed with baking powder and 1 teaspoon of salt.
In another bowl, mix the milk with the oil and eggs, beat well with a fork or fork.
Add the milk and egg mixture to the flour mixture, mix well and knead the dough.
The dough is left to rest until we prepare the filling.
Peel an onion, wash it and cut it into cubes, as well as garlic. Put them to harden with oil in a pan.
Then, after browning the onion a little, add the diced tomatoes, mix and leave for 10-15 minutes to penetrate well.
Then add the finely chopped chicken breast, corn and drained peas. Mix everything well, season with salt and pepper and turn off the heat. This will be the pie filling.
The dough is divided into 2 equal parts and 2 balls are formed.
Then grease a larger baking tray with oil (I put baking paper), spread the first sheet of dough enough to cover the entire surface of the tray and be no more than 3-4 mm thick.
Spread the filling evenly over the entire surface of the pie.
Then roll out the second sheet of dough and cover the filling, you can optionally grease it with a beaten egg on top, but it is not mandatory. Put the pie in the oven at an average temperature of 180-200 degrees.
Leave it in the oven until it browns well, then take it out and while it is hot I recommend greasing it with a little butter, so that it is softer. But this procedure is also optional, if you don't have butter, leave it like that.
Let it cool well and then portion it and serve with great appetite :)
Good appetite!
