How to Cook Couscous

Couscous is a kind of small grain of durum wheat, like pasta, only very crushed. If you choose to boil whole durum wheat couscous, I assure you that it will be very healthy and nutritious - I take it from health food stores or hypermarkets.

Water

Salt

Important to know: The couscous is boiled in a 1: 1 ratio with water. So a water unit, and a couscous unit.

Boil 1 cup of water, you can use any pan. In this water put the salt, oil and spices that you like. For this recipe I used curry or turmeric, both give a pleasant aroma and a pleasant yellow color.
