I said to quickly put the method of cooking couscous, it is a very good garnish and you can use it in various combinations with vegetables or meat as food. Couscous is a kind of small grain of durum wheat, like pasta, only very crushed. If you choose to boil whole durum wheat couscous, I assure you that it will be very healthy and nutritious - I take it from health food stores or hypermarkets.
Important to know: The couscous is boiled in a 1: 1 ratio with water. So a water unit, and a couscous unit.
Boil 1 cup of water, you can use any pan. In this water put the salt, oil and spices that you like. For this recipe I used curry or turmeric, both give a pleasant aroma and a pleasant yellow color.
Until the water boils, prepare an equal volume of couscous - in my case the same cup with water.
When the water starts to boil, put the couscous, stir and turn off the heat.
Let it swell well for 10 minutes and then use as a garnish or in combination with other vegetables, meat and make a delicious meal.
