A very good food, it is my grandmother's recipe - she usually prepares it for Christmas and boils it on the stove .... If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend you make it, it is very delicious and goes perfectly for the holidays. Here I used pork ribs, but it also goes with duck, goose or fatter beef.
The pork ribs are washed well and sliced. I recommend you take some with more meat.
Then heat the oil in the pan and brown all the pieces of meat well on both sides.
Then put them in a cauldron or pan, pour enough water to cover them well, about a finger above them. Put on the fire and wait for it to start boiling.
During this time, clean and wash 1 onion, cut it into larger pieces. Cut the cucumbers into thicker slices.
When the water starts to boil, add the cucumbers and onions, the bay leaves and make a small fire. It should boil for about 1 hour on low heat.
Carrots and other onions are cleaned and washed. Then cut the carrot into slices and chopped onion.
Then harden them well with a little oil.
When the vegetables are well browned, add the tomato broth and let them boil together for another 5 minutes.
After the meat has cooked for an hour, add the carrot, onion and broth. Bring to a boil over high heat, then make the fire very, very low and let it cook for another 30 minutes.
The food is absolutely delicious, grandma was one of the best cooks in the village - this recipe is a special dedication for her. Every time I prepare her food I remember everything she taught me and how much she loved her children and grandchildren.
Good appetite!
