A delicious, fluffy cake, with honey aroma, the ingredients are simple and I really didn't think that something good could be done with them. Just pay attention to what oil you use, preferably one without smell.
Grind the walnuts well in a blender.
Sift flour and mix with baking powder, here you can add cinnamon as desired.
In a saucepan or heat-resistant bowl put water, oil, sugar and honey. Then place on a steam bath and mix until the honey and sugar dissolve.
Baking soda is mixed with lemon juice (quenched), then added to the composition of honey and water. Mix well and notice that it will foam and increase slightly in volume.
Take the pan off the steam, add the walnuts and mix well again.
Add the flour mixture to the above composition. Mix well so that they are not lumpy. It must be a cake-like dough.
Pour the dough into a rectangular tray with higher edges, spread with baking paper. On top you can put the pieces of apples or pears.
Put the cake in the oven and let it bake at medium temperature, about 45-50 minutes - until it grows and browns well (do the toothpick test).
Let it cool, portion it and enjoy :)
Good appetite!
