It is a homemade muesli, very nutritious and healthy. It is consumed for breakfast with fruit sauces, soy milk or other similar drinks. It is very easy to prepare and can be kept in an airtight box for a longer time. Ever since I found out about this muesli, I've been using it almost every morning to make breakfast.
In a larger bowl put the oatmeal, all chopped nuts and mix well.
In a deeper plate, mix the fruit juice, honey, oil and salt.
Mix the oatmeal and walnuts with the liquid from the step above.
In an oven tray, distribute the whole mixture evenly and put it in the oven on a very low heat. Stir with a spoon every 15 minutes to dry evenly.
Be careful with the temperature in the oven, to be minimal - otherwise it burns very quickly.
Leave in the oven for about 1-2 hours, depending on how the muesli browns. It must be reddish-golden and crisp. 20 minutes before it is ready, you can add thinly sliced apples or bananas, so that they dry well enough.
After removing it from the oven, let it cool well. Then put it in a hermetically sealed box and use it when you need it.
Good appetite!
