Another version of apple pie, it is very fragrant, soft, it melts in your mouth - it is made with butter dough, a little more work on it, but it is worth doing.
Crush the butter in the flour with a wooden spoon - grind it a little.
Then add the rest of the ingredients - sugar, egg yolks, sour cream, baking powder and orange zest and juice.
Knead a soft, homogeneous dough that you divide into 2 balls. Leave them in the fridge for about 1 hour, during which time prepare the filling.
Grate the apples, mix with the sugar and cinnamon and leave on the fire for 10-15 minutes until the apples are soft. Allow to cool well.
Grease a large baking tray with butter, line it with flour or breadcrumbs.
Spread the first ball of dough, sprinkle the flour well so you can work it easier. Then place it in the tray and spread lightly with your hands to cover the entire surface. Use a fork to make small holes in it.
Spread the chilled apple filling over it well.
Spread another sheet of dough from the second ball, with it evenly cover the entire surface of the pie. Make holes with a shotgun in it.
Leave the cake in the oven at medium temperature until it has a light copper color. When it is ready, sprinkle it with powdered sugar and let it cool. It is very good and warm and cold, gorgeous!
Good appetite!
