Step by step
Step 1
Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into cubes. Put the potatoes in a saucepan, pour enough water to cover them well and put them to boil.
Step 2
When it starts to boil, turn down the heat, add the bay leaf and leave for about 30 minutes.
Step 3
About 20 minutes later, when the potatoes are almost cooked, we start making the sour cream sauce.
Peel and chop the onion, pour the oil into a pan, add the onion and lightly fry it.
Step 4
After about 2 minutes, add 2 tablespoons of flour, mix and leave for a few more minutes until the onion is lightly browned.
Step 5
Now add the cream and mix well.
Step 6
Make the small fire under the sour cream sauce boil slowly - during this time drain the juice in which they boiled the potatoes in a deep pan or smaller pan.
Step 7
With this potato soup, dissolve the sour cream sauce a little, if it is too thick. Add a little and mix until you get the desired consistency, that of a liquid cream.
Step 8
Add the sauce to the potatoes, mix well and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 9
The food is best eaten hot or warm, reheated potatoes are usually stronger.
Good appetite!
