An extraordinary easy donut or hispanic jews sweet pastry choux recipe, you'll have a great dessert in 30 minutes - actually they are a sort of scattered donuts, baked in the oven. The process is quite simple and quick. My husband saw me enter the kitchen and when I came out after only 10 minutes saying I was ready, he was truly amazed.
Bring the water and the oil to the boil.
When it comes to the boil, remove from the heat and incorporate all the flour. Stir well with a whisk until all the lumps have gone.
It should look something like this.
Add in the eggs one by one, stir well after each one.
It's a batter similar to the eclair batter.
Line a large oven tray with parchment paper, tip the batter into and, with a spoon, spread out into an even layer, to cover the whole surface.
Combine sugar with cinnamon.
And sprinkle over the batter in the pan.
Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees C for 20-30 minutes, until brown on top.
Leave for 5-10 minutes to cool, then slice/tear into pieces and serve.
Here is a nicer photo, that's the best I could do, the donuts vanished too soon :)
Enjoy!
