Step by step
Step 2
Knead with a bit of flour until smooth and make sure it isn't too dense. Let rest for 15 minutes.
Step 3
While the dough is resting, I recommend preparing the rest of the ingredients for the pizza, especially the cheese.
Step 4
Grate the cheese using the big holes side and set aside.
Step 5
Now roll out the dough into a big, 3-4mm thick sheet. Dust the table with flour, it will make it easier to work.
Step 6
Using a big mug, cut rounds of about 9-10cm in diameter.
This also depends on the size of the cupcake cups you have, if they are smaller, cut smaller rounds.
Step 7
Press into muffin cups, greased with a bit of oil, and make sure they fit in perfectly. Gently tap with your fingers the bottom and the sides.
Step 8
I made 12 cupcakes, if there is any dough left, you can either make some more muffins or a classic pizza.
Step 9
Let's continue with the muffins - coat the base and the sides with your favourite tomato sauce.
I use the Classic Marinara Sauce or any Tomato Sauce for Pizza.
Step 10
Add your kids' favourite toppings - mine like corn on a pizza :) So, I spooned 1 tbsp corn on top of each cupcake.
Step 11
Top with a few pieces of sausage or ham, mushrooms, olives etc.
Step 12
Lastly top the muffins with shredded yellow cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees C for 30-40 minutes.
Step 13
After this time, they will surely turn to golden brown on top, but it's important to check if they are completely cooked through. I use a knife to pull one out and see if the base is cooked as well.
Step 14
Let cool for a bit before serving.
They were good either way, warm and cold.
Enjoy!
