My family loves chicken meatballs, with any sauce or without it, but the recipe of chicken meatballs in cream sauce are their's favourite. This meatballs are tender and juicy in a very delicious creamy sauce, also a big fact is that they are steamed and have healthy ingredients.
Ground the chicken breast and the onion.
Cut the carrots and cauliflower into small pieces and put them into a food processor.
Process until evenly chopped but not completely pulverized.
Add vegetables to the ground chicken, next add the egg and quick oats.
Then add the salt and mix well.
Roll the meat into 1 to 1/4" balls, place them in a steamer basket.
Don't forget to fill the bottom of the steamer with water.
Steam the meatballs for 30-40 minutes.
Then remove from the steamer and place them in a deep sauce pan.
Steam again other meatballs if you have more meat, I made this 2 times.
When all the meatballs are ready, pour over the heaving cream and bring it to a simmer.
Stir well and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
The sauce will thicken enough in this time.
Add the salt and sprinkle chopped parsley, stir well.
Cover the pan, turn down the heat and let 10 minutes stay before serving.
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles or pasta.
Bon Appetit!
