Very simple and easy to make vanilla buttermilk bread, my favourite recipe for more than 10 years. Simple ingredients, quick bread recipe but such a good result - moist, tender and fluffy. The recipe is versatile, you cand add some dried or fresh fruits, spices, cacao powder, chocolate chunks and so on.
My family enjoy it every time, I hope you'll do the same!
Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
Prepare ingredients according to recipe.
In a mixing bowl beat well the eggs and sugar.
Then add the melted butter, vanilla and mix well.
Then add the butermilk, mix well.
Add the white flour and baking powder.
Mix well until there are no clumps.
Line the loaf pan with parchement paper.
Pour the batter into the pan now and smooth the top.
Bake it for 45 minutes at 180C degrees, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10-15 minutes in the pan, then take it out of the pan and cool some more.
Slice the bread and sprinkle some icing sugar if you like.
