After a while I started looking for other pizza toppings, so I discovered the fantastic taste of Pizza 4 FORMAGGI , and now I present you a pizza with a Lebanese twist. This is not a real Lebanese pizza, I adapted it and used simplified ingredients - but the ground meat and Za'tar will give it an interesting flavour.
I recommend you to try it - it is very tasty and different from a standard pizza, maybe it is like a meat pie.
Grind the beef meat.
Cook the meat in a skillet with some vegetabel oil - stir regularly.
Add the red wine, and cook until all liquid evaporates and meat begins to brown.
Then add salt, some spices and dried herbs - I put pepper, curry, dried basil, parsley and paprika. Mix well and remove from the heat.
Prepare all topping ingredients for the pizza - slice the onion, red pepper and olives.
Use your fingers to spread the oil around the pan, and then spread out the dough, lifting it a bit towards the edges.
Brush the dough with tomatoes sauce and then sprinkle it with Za'tar.
Add grated cheese.
Then add the cooked meat.
Add sliced red pepper.
Finally, add sliced onion and olives.
Bake pizza into the oven - 180-200 C, until browned, but not to much. Let it cool 5 minutes in the pan.
Slice pizza and enjoy.
Bon Appetit!
