Today I want to show you one of my girls' favorite desserts. They are delighted every time I cook for them this surprise Banana Nutella Pizza, and, of course, other classic pizzas. The process is simple and fast, and it would be nice to make it regularly, as a sweet treat for the whole family.
I prepare it with the classic pizza dough. I definitely recommend the bananas because they balance and subtly highlight the fuller taste of nutella. One more thing, prepare the dessert pizza first and then the rest of the pizzas you've planned. This way, it will have time to cool down a bit and be exactly as it should when serving the dessert.
You can easily prepare this dessert with homemade Nutella for a healthier, vegan or fasting version. Of course, you'll have to plan in order to have the chocolate cream already prepared.
Prepare the pizza crust. See my classic dough recipe here, tested for many years and very successful. Just make sure to double the quantities if there are more than three people at the table.
Spread out the pizza crust. You can place in the baking sheet. I assemble it on parchment and bake it in the improvised wood-fired oven as in Gennaro's pizza recipe, see steps 10-17.
Spread nutella over the entire surface, you don't need a very thick layer.
Arrange the banana slices on top of the chocolate cream.
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven at 200-220 degrees C, until the edges are nicely browned.
Let cool before serving, then savour. It's delicious and children always love it.
Enjoy!
