It's delicious, creamy, energizing, chocolatey and full of nutrients. You can adapt the recipe of this avocado smoothie as needed:
- Classic variant - vegetable or normal milk, banana, avocado, coffee, cocoa, honey (it can be sweetened using seedless dates), vanilla etc.
- Variant for children - milk, banana, avocado, carob or cocoa, honey, vanilla.
- Keto variant - raw almond milk (you can find the recipe on the site), avocado, coffee, cocoa, sweetener, vanilla.
In addition to all this, you can add 1 teaspoon of chia seeds, ground flax or sesame seeds, fine oat flakes etc. This way you will have an even more complete version of a delicious, fast and very nutritious breakfast.
For me, I made the smoothie with unsweetened almond milk, because I am on a low-carb diet.
You can use any normal or vegetable milk you prefer and have at hand.
For the children, you can replace cocoa powder with carob powder.
For the keto version, I replaced the honey with a sweetener, erithritol or xylitol (birch sugar).
And, of course, for us, the adults, I did not skip the coffee - make the coffee and let cool a bit. In this type of blender, hot liquids are not recommended.
Now pour the milk and coffee into the blender jar, put half a banana.
Add cocoa powder, vanilla, honey or other sweetener.
And, of course, add half an avocado, ripe and creamy.
Tightly seal the lid on the blender jar.
Fasten the jar on the blender, press and mix well until your smoothie is creamy.
Now you can consume the avocado smoothie right away, or put the other lid on and take it with you.
I like that this lid seals tightly and there is no danger of having smoothie all over your bag :)
I was really surprised by this avocado smoothie recipe - it is creamy, whole, energizing, very versatile and delicious!
We didn't use to be smoothie fans, but we are now, especially after testing it and a few other hundreds of interesting combinations.
Enjoy!
