Every season of the year we have certain salad preferences - from the simple cabbage and tomato salad in the season at its peak to more strange and interesting combinations. In winter we do not have fresh vegetables in the garden, so we buy leaf salad bags. I like to combine various dressings here, but this one with mustard seeds and honey is one of our favorites. It has a slightly sweet taste, the mustard seeds are a bit crunchy and fragrant. It would be hard to mess it up and for this reason I highly recommend it!
In a small jar (200-300ml), pour the olive oil.
I recommend using a jar to prepare the dressing, it is easy to mix/shake and store what's left in the refrigerator.
Add the honey. You can add between 20-50 ml, depending on how sweet you like it.
Add the 3 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice.
Of course, don't forget about the mustard, it's the "star" of this salad dressing.
Salt to taste.
And a little ground black pepper, or any other herbs you like.
You can mix the sauce with a spoon until it becomes homogeneous.
Or close it tightly with a lid and shake, it's faster and easier.
In addition, you can prepare the dressing in advance and keep it in the refrigerator for 5-7 days until use.
It's wonderful, one of my favorite sauces for leaf salads and I recommend it with confidence.
Enjoy!
