Honestly and modestly I can tell you that I made the most delicious brownie ever! It's absolutely fantastic, with lots of chocolate, a perfect taste, texture, aroma and color. Moderately moist and fluffy, it conquered us all. I'd say this is the exemplary brownie, very chocolatey, which the icing makes even more delicious.
The ingredients will be enough to fit a large 25x35cm tray, so you'll be able to enjoy without worrying it will disappear too soon. But even so, it actually melts each time, with many praises and "Yummy" sounds :)
Melt 200g of chocolate and 250g of butter over a bain marie.
Stir well until it becomes homogeneous.
In a bowl, combine flour with sugar, cocoa and baking powder.
Pour the melted chocolate and butter over the dry ingredients in the bowl.
Add the eggs, two at a time, mix.
Then mix in the fermented cream. Beat with a whisk.
Now you should have a nice batter, slightly dense.
Pour into an oven sheet (25x35cm) lined with baking paper. Even out.
Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, check for doneness with a toothpick.
Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
When the cake has cooled, we start to prepare the icing:
- In a bowl, combine 150g of chocolate, 20g of butter and 50ml of heavy whipping cream. Melt in the microwave or over bain marie, stirring regularly.
Pour the icing over the cake.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until the icing hardens.
Carefully slice the cake. For a clean section, wash the knife after each slice.
And a delicious section - perfectly moist, fluffy and chocolatey.
Enjoy!
