Although it looks like a cake, it is actually denser and its flavor reminds me of gingerbread. I really liked this dough, it came out perfectly, but I was skeptical until the moment I took it out of the oven. It has a very pleasant aroma of bananas and honey, with the jam which gives the final touch.
You must try it, you can even do without jam, it will still be good.
Blend the bananas thoroughly in a blender.
Mix the banana puree with honey, oil, sugar, vanilla and baking soda ( do not replace with baking powder).
Finally, add the flour and beat with a whisk or mixer until there are no lumps.
You'll have a thick and dense dough.
Pour it into a round oven pan, about 28-30cm in diameter, lined with baking paper.
Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees C for 25-30 minutes, until brown.
Allow to cool properly.
Then cut in half using a longer knife.
Spread with jam, mercilessly.
Place the other half of the cake on top. Let it settle for a little.
Optionally, you can dust with powdered sugar.
And here's a delicious section.
Enjoy!
