As promised, today we have a super mega delicious and flavorful recipe. If you feel intimidated because of the orange, you can make the sauce without it, but this way you'll miss the most interesting parts, which are the taste and aroma. At least, try to put the orange juice and a teaspoon of grated peel. The fish prepared in this way is unexpectedly good, I managed to I surprise my husband and he enjoyed it a lot.
I really recommend the recipe, it's not only very fast, but also very tasty.
Clean and wash the fish. Then cut into medium-sized pieces.
Zest the orange and squeeze the juice from it.
Sauté the diced onion with a little oil in a frying pan.
When the onion starts to brown, add the chopped garlic. Cook everything together for another 10-20 seconds.
After this time, add the diced tomatoes, orange juice and zest and tomato paste.
Stir and bring to the boil.
When it boils, season with salt and pepper, add paprika and one teaspoon of sugar, mix.
Now sink the fish fillets into this sauce.
Bring to the boil again, then turn the heat to low.
Cover with a lid and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
This is what it looks like when it's done.
Serve with any side dish you like - we had couscous. Rice or mashed potatoes could be other options.
If you don't have a side dish, a good slice of bread will do ... the tomato sauce will be delicious.
Enjoy!
