I ended up trying it and wondering why I didn't do it until now, because I kept coming across it on other sites. Much easier to prepare than the traditional cinnamon rolls, but more interesting in taste and texture.
Caramel, nuts and butter are a perfect combination - you feel like you're eating candy with cake!
In a saucepan of about 26-28cm diameter, melt the 12 tablespoons of sugar over low heat.
When the caramel is done, carefully grease it with a spoon on the walls of the pot and set aside to cool.
In a bowl measure the flour, add eggs, salt, vanilla and the flavors you like.
Hot milk is mixed with 3 tablespoons of sugar and yeast, add immediately over the flour, do not let it froth.
We start to knead the dough, first with a spoon.
Then with your hands - take it out on the work table and if necessary sprinkle a little flour to knead it for about 5 minutes.
Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Mix the soft butter with 6 tablespoons of sugar.
Spread a sheet of dough to be about 3mm thick.
Grease it with butter mixed with sugar.
Sprinkle with finely chopped walnuts and press them a little with your hands to stick to the butter.
Roll tightly and cut this roll into about 7-8 pieces.
Arrange the small rolls evenly in the pan with the hardened caramel and leave to rise for about 1 hour.
It has to double its volume, now it's ready to put in the oven.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Careful! As soon as you take it out of the oven, it must be turned upside down on a plate.
I put the plate over the pan.
Holding the plate with one hand I turned the pan upside down, I shook a little.
If you do not do this thing immediately from the oven, the caramel will harden and do not take it out.
I let it cool well.
Here you can also see the sections - slices full of butter-flavored nuts.
Good appetite!
