Sauteed Stinging Nettles with Garlic

Another nettle recipe that passed the test in our family. I can't say that it's extraordinary and I'm ready to eat it every week, but in the right season it still has a very decent taste, much better consistency than other recipes I've tried so far.

Served with polenta as if it has a different charm, so I recommend you to do the same. If you do not fast you can sprinkle a little feta cheese, it will be even tastier.

Ingredients
Fresh nettles
300 g
picked, washed and scalded
White onion
1 piece
White flour
2 tbsp
Garlic cloves
2 pieces
Sunflower oil
30 ml
Salt
1 tsp

In a frying pan, fry the onion in oil, when it browns, add the 2 tablespoons of flour.

Mix and let the flour cook for 1 minute.

Add at least 1 glass of water, stirring constantly.

You need a sauce that looks like a thinner cream.

If necessary, add water until you have the necessary consistency.

Add the nettles to this sauce, stir.

Simmer for about 10 minutes.

After this time add the salt, add the crushed garlic and let it boil for another 2 minutes.
