Melt the sugar over low heat until completely caramelized.

Pour the water into the caramelized sugar and heat until the caramel dissolves completely.
Transfer to another container to cool faster.

Once the caramel water has cooled, pour it into a bowl.
Add the oil, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and spices.

Mix thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps. Then, fold in the chopped walnuts, raisins, or candie.

Line an oven tray with baking paper and pour the batter evenly into the tray.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180–200°C (356–392°F) for 25 minutes.
