I really liked the contrast of colors in this salad, as well as the simple and handy ingredients. For the easier (dietary) version, replace mayonnaise with 2% yogurt mixed with a little mustard.
Boil the chicken breast or cook with a little oil and your favorite spices.
In a bowl we start to cut the ingredients for the salad - all try to cut them into juliennes.
First cut the chicken breast.
Then add chopped cabbage, peppers and onions.
Just half an hour before serving, add the canned peas, mayonnaise.
Stir, season with salt and ground black pepper.
Put the salad in a nicer bowl, in which you will serve it on the table.
And arrange the tomato pieces on top - I put slices of cherry tomatoes - but the diced simple tomatoes work very well (but drain a little juice before you put them over the salad).
Do not mount the salad too long in advance because it will leave a little water.
My salad was successful for my guests, I was asked for the recipe, so it's really good.
Good appetite!
