I really liked the idea of forming this pie, as well as the components, the quick dough, nothing complicated. It also goes as a food or a good-looking appetizer on the guest table.
The pie is delicious, beautiful and interesting - the husband appreciated it a lot - so, good to note and put on the site.
The meat is mixed with salt, optionally 1 egg and spices to taste.
Form meatballs, place them on a plate and put them in the freezer for 15 minutes (you can also skip this step).
During this time we make the pie dough:
- in a bowl beat eggs, mix a little with a whisk;
- add sour cream, mix;
- and lastly add flour, baking powder and salt - mix well so that they are not lumpy.
Pour the dough into a tray lined with baking paper.
Put the meatballs on top, press them very lightly to get a little into the dough - but don't overdo it.
Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and place the tray in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
It is ready when it browns nicely. Remove it and let it cool well.
Remove the edges of the tray and portion the pie.
Serve it with a salad or as such, very good and tender - I really liked the dough here, I think I will apply it to other pies.
And a slice for you :)
Good appetite!
